Introduction:

Hippocrates was the first physician to use the term "miasm" which has its origins in the Greek word for taint or fault. In late 18th century it was a common belief that miasms were impure airs that were responsible for the spread of epidemic diseases. A Dutch naturalist named van Leeuwenhoek invented the microscope and published his observations of small living "animalcules" before in his death in 1723.

In Greek, the word psora means “scabies,” a contagious infestation of the skin caused by the itch mite. Hahnemann believed that the moment the organism touched the skin, the infection occurred, for this no susceptibility is required.unless we understand psora( the miasm) scientifically there will be lot of ambiguities and there must be emergence different intutions and assumptions.

here I tried to solve the riddle in a scientific way with help of contemporary physics. Hanemanian concept of psora: In Hahnemannian Homoeopathy the word "miasm" means the dynamic effects of different inimical forces on the vital force, and the reactions of vital principle are being suppressed by dissimilar forces and thus transmitted to the following generations in different form of chronic disease condition.Dr. Hahnemann describes psora as one of the oldest diseases in existence.

From 600 BC to the Middle Ages, various types of leprosy spread throughout the world. It was one of the most infectious and scaring diseases.

According to Hahnemann, psora originated from ancestral suppression of leprosy. He referred to psora as the mother of all disease. All diseases stem from psora. Psora is describes as “the intolerable itch.” Whenever there is psora, we will find the itch. Without the psora miasm, there can be no itch. Starting with a deficiency of the primary routes of elimination, psora expresses itself externally with all types of skin conditions. The skin incurs scaly eruptions and is dirty, dry and itchy. The psora miasm externalizes toxins, and if suppressed topically, it will lead to the manifestation of a serious internal ailment. Sulphur is one of the leading remedies in the treatment of psoric conditions.

Controversy among Homoeopath and scientific World:

Here one vital question arise as we know without susceptibility (corporeal resonance to a particular frequency with disease force) no disease condition can be arise then how Psora comes and spread without any susceptibility.

The vital question who comes first ?? the disease psora or the susceptibility. There are so many contradictions and different words of salad has been presented since Hahnemann’s time, and even Dr. Richard Huges never agreed with miasmatic prescription, and laughed at Miasmatic prescription as Hahnemann,s old age diversion, Constantine Herrings sometime yes or some time no about the miasmatic prescription.

A huge amount of word of salad everyday is added on the name of miasm, which diverts homeopathy only. I have found homoeopathic most of the physicians are confused and with low confident level while prescribing and because lack of modern scientific knowledge they are in a chaotic condition and have great doubts about the outcomes of his prescriptions.

very few physician gives a delineate idea about cure because lack of proper theoretical conception related to modern science .

Dr. J T Kent fully supports the miasmatic prescriptions on basis of the hypothesis, the itching of mind or Ill thinking about the neighbor is the origin of all disease condition or Psora.

That also brought a great confusion as who does not have the ill thinking about his neighbor how they are being affected by Psora or the itch disease.

The question is because of different speculative imaginations, what to do , and whom to follow, and most of the homeopath follow their own route with different experimentations with their patients and they are very much confused about and with lack scientific knowledge , mostly are indulge with various hypothesis, and with their own speculative ideas and by getting success in some cases and try to encourage others to follow their own making system, and with different intutions they starts failure and thus directed more and more confusions about miasm. There is no proper follow up,and fate of the patient’s healthin danger.How a physician declare their treatment is a miasmatic treatment. Unless he don’t know scientifically what is the base of scientific idea or the origin of miasm.

while making a miasmatic prescription, a physician should have a precise scientific conception about miasm and its treatment will be more easier because of clear scientific conceptions.

Comparing the miasm similar term can be used in light of modern physics after a lot of discussions with different physicist I understood that miasm psora is nothing but a entropy caused by suppression of reaction emerged by the frictional force. (ref. the second law of thermodynamics). Following the modern physics, we can divide miasm in to two groups

1. functional 2. structural.

Functional miasm is purely similar to Psora and it is the cause and make an individual susceptible for structural change and the structural miasm is equivalent to sycosis and syphilitic, and thus miasm is an imbalance of the fundamental forces to the economy of an living organism, there is no existence of miasm unless there is suppression of symptoms,

Some known force according to physics: There are 4 fundamental forces that have been identified. In our present Universe they have rather different properties.Properties of the Fundamental Forces

The strong interaction force is very strong, but very short-ranged. It acts only over ranges of order 10-13 centimeters and is responsible for holding the nuclei of atoms together. It is basically attractive, but can be effectively repulsive in some circumstances.

The electromagnetic force causes electric and magnetic effects such as the repulsion between like electrical charges or the interaction of bar magnets. It is long-ranged, but much weaker than the strong force. It can be attractive or repulsive, and acts only between pieces of matter carrying electrical charge.

The weak force is responsible for radioactive decay and neutrino interactions. It has a very short range and, as its name indicates, it is very weak.

The gravitational force is weak, but very long ranged. Furthermore, it is always attractive, and acts between any two pieces of matter in the Universe since mass is its source.

Link of miasm according to physics:

Entropy ( or miasm) In the absence of any friction, then the net entropy change is 0. For any real process, there is friction. Entropy is transferred with heat transfer, and the direction of entropy transfer is the same as that of heat transfer. So, any time heat is transferred into the system, the entropy of the system increases. Any time heat is transferred out of the system, the entropy of the system decreases. Heat transfer out is the only means of decreasing system entropy of a closed system. For an open system, entropy can be transferred out with energy transfer out, and with mass transfer out.( the above same phenomena we see while journey of a disease condition if there is a continuous suppressions) so any real process while formation of disease condition, in human body with the suppression addition of extra energy ( if it is dissimilar) increases the entropy( miasm or trigger to other form of entropy) of the system. But whether the entropy of the system itself increases or decreases is dependent on the heat transfer, if phase of energy affects the entropy there is decrease of entropy because of repulsion and dissimilar phase .

One of the ideas about as a substance is heated ( primary cause is psora or the excess frictional force) , its miasmatic state or entropy increases because the motion of its molecules increases and becomes more random. Heat flows naturally from the warmer to the cooler substance because the heating of the cooler substance( an equilibrium state of an individual) increases the total miasmatic states of the living individual or system.

But how the heat is formed, friction may be one of the causes of formation of heat causes the miasmatic state of an individual. Miasm or disorder also has associations with equilibrium state of an individual.

Technically, miasms, from this perspective, is defined as a thermodynamic property which serves as a measure of how close a system is to equilibrium — that is, to perfect internal disorder. Likewise, the amount of a miasmatic states distribution of atoms and molecules in a living organism is a measure of the disorder (like maintaining cause, and the suppression level) in the arrangements of its particles.

The frictional force is the most primitive force for all the activities and is the chief cause for all activities in the quantum level, and which is inversely proportional to heat formation and is base of all forces productions and which is a chief cause for all entropy.
